This morning danced to Cat Empire's second album. Very good though not as good as their first. This band was a recent transmission (recommendation) from my brother Jeremy. Apparently my nephew Kai's favorite band.

I was remembering my Conversation with Chris Cobb as I danced, about how he runs marathons for the end goal of living longer, not for pleasure. he says he does not get a runner's high. Very Buddhist. This made me think the way Eddie Berrigan is a copy editor for the end goal of the paycheck, no need for pleasure in the job. 

All of this makes me wonder about my own constant desire for pleasure. I think: I'm a slave to pleasure. Slave of pleasure.

It could be a title. Slave of Pleasure.

But I mean it is just SO pleasurable.

Started early, with a new Mixmasterpiece Theater, which completely lived up to its title. Wow, what a set.  I did 2 things new today.  1. Move. I used weights to swing both arms around and up to a T, on both sides. I did this because I thought it would be good for tennis game, since it replicates forehand and backhand movements. Best thing was how it synced up with synth sweeps. Speaking of syncing with synth sweeps... 2. Wrote a poem from lines of The Vibrarian set, which came out beautifully: Take me on There’s a riot going on. What does forever mean?
